We are open every day of the year but one public holiday, Christmas Day.

The Pavilion is a casual dining space for walk in diners only. You can book a table in the Tropic, we recommend booking in advance. Follow the website for booking details.
We have our resident DJ’s from 3pm Thursday – Sunday. Please keep an eye out on our socials.
Burleigh Pavilion often charges a small door fee on busy nights or special events, dependent on the entertainment booked, foot traffic out front and or numbers inside. Our best advice, is get in early before the crowds.
Burleigh Pavilion’s dress code is smart casual. We are flexible on this during the day and in quieter periods. However stricter when busy and at night. If in doubt, dress up, or you may be refused.
Burleigh Pavilion is a family and community-oriented venue. Guests with tattoos are welcome at our venue, however, our policy does not permit intimidating, aggressive, or offensive tattoos, clothing or behavior which may offend or intimidate other guest or staff. Tattoos on the neck, head and face are viewed as increased intimidation in that order.
This practice is common among licensed venues and is in place to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests. Covering up these tattoos does not allow entry.
Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person they deem unsuitable for entry.

Tropic Restaurant: is always kid friendly. Dependent of the time and day, they may not be able to cross over into the Pavilion, as per below.
The Pavilion: is very much a kid friendly venue throughout Monday to Thursday and during lunch period Friday to Sunday, however on the weekends and special events when the volume of foot traffic increases in the venue, it shifts from a sit-down family style to a high volume stand up crowded venue. We can’t guarantee minors entry after 5pm during these busy times, however Management use their discretion for the duty of care of all minors, so more often than not a decision is made in the evenings to stop minors from entering the venue, which is in the best interest of the minors. Please respect the decision to protect your friends and family. It is our number one priority.
All minors must be accompanied by their parents. Or an appropriate adult at manager discretion. One adult per every three minors.
Due to being a restaurant we don’t allow animals in venue, we only allow certified Service dogs or animals.
The Tropic doesn’t allow any balloons or confetti onsite as we are positioned on the ocean, we want to take care of the surrounding environment and these decorations seem to have a mind of their own. If you’re looking to make your table special, please feel free to bring along florals for the center of the tables.
We are happy for you to bring along a birthday cake for a celebration however no exceptions will be made outside of this. We have a full food and beverage menu available to all customers.
There is limited parking available in proximity, most have 3 hours maximum applied. We suggest booking a driving service or ride sharing to our venue.
What is the difference between The Tropic and the Burleigh Pavilion? The Tropic is our a la carte restaurant, full table service and we welcome bookings. The Burleigh Pavilion is found on the same level and is our casual dining space, we consider indoor lunch bookings daily, however are predominantly a walk-in venue. We have two bars and a relaxed menu including woodfired pizzas, prawns, burgers etc. – we look forward to seeing you soon!
